Osprey Publishing is a British publishing company that in military history and was previously located in Oxford. As primarily an illustrated publisher, many of their books feature full-color artwork, maps, and photographs. The company has more than a dozen ongoing series, each concentrating on distinct aspects of warfare history. Among their notable publications is the Men-at-arms series, which boasts over 500 titles, with each book focusing on a specific historical army or military unit. Osprey is an imprint under Bloomsbury Publishing.
