Worrals De La R.A.F. (1952) By Captain W.E. Johns
 
Worrals of the W.A.A.F. by W. E. Johns was serialised in Girl's Own Paper in 12 issues, from October 1940 to September 1941. In the serialisation, the title was given as Worrals of the W.A.A.F.S and sometimes as Worrals of the W.A.A.F.'s. It was also collected in Girls Own Annual vol. 62, also in 1941. It was first published in book form by Lutterworth in September 1941. The Lutterworth edition went through 6 impressions, with the last, in 1950, carrying 5 colour plates. In 2013, Indiebooks issued a new edition.
 
The events in the book take place in Britain during the early part of the Second World War.
