It presents all of the original material from Tragödie um die Treue as well as selected excerpts from Korps Steiner and original material added just for the English edition. It concentrates on the fighting in the Baltic but covers the fighting all the way until the end of the war including an extensive section on the final fighting in Berlin.
 
This book represents the only thorough account in English of some of the formations in the corps: e.g., the 11.SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division "Nordland" and the aforementioned 4. SS-Panzergrenadier-Brigade "Nederland".
