Julius Streicher: The Man Who Persuaded a Nation To Hate Jews (1983) By Randall L. Bytwerk

 

 Although much has been written about the Holocaust itself, surprisingly little has been written, until now, about the techniques through which a civilized nation was persuaded to kill 6,000,000 Jews. The Nazis put an astonishing amount of energy into spreading antisemitism, and a great deal of that energy came from Julius Streicher. His weekly newspaper, Der Sturmer, devoted entirely to arousing hatred against the Jews, was the most widely read newspaper in Germany during the Hitler era.
