Der WeltKrieg German Cigarette Card Album (1933)
Published by Immalin Picture Service, Mettmann
The overwhelming majority of illustrations in this very rare WW1 Tobacco card photo album are reproductions of German official photographs, although there are also two artists impressions of German troops in action and the two well known photographs of Hitler with other members of the 16th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment.
Most of the images cover the German effort on the Western Front (France, Marne, Antwerpen, Langemark, Champagne, Arras, Neuville, Verdun, Douaumont, Somme +++) but there are also a small number covering Eastern Front (Poland, Tannenberg, Neidenburg, East Prussia, Masuria, Lyck, Lodz, Ortelsburg), Italy (Tolmein, Flitsch, Udine), the Balkans (Hungary, Gorlize, Przemysl, Serbia), Rumania and the Imperial German Air Service.
A complete Cigarette Post Card Book, which is large sized and very rare in the depictions of the German Soldiers fighting in the Great War.
German language cigarette cards relating to the First World War.
An amazing piece of collectible history from a German Military Perspective.
