Biggles The Camels Are Coming (2003) By Captain W.E. Johns

The Camels are Coming was first published in August 1932 by John Hamilton. It was the first ever Biggles book, although not the first book to be published by W. E. Johns--he had published Mossyface in 1922. The book was subsequently republished in 1938 by the Boys' Friend Library with some changes to the titles of the short stories found within. Thereafter the book remained out of print for 55 years. Some stories were reprinted as part of Biggles of the Special Air Police and Biggles Pioneer Air Fighter but it was not until 1993 that Red Fox reissued Camels in its original form. This was followed in 2010 by the Norman Wright hardcover edition.

Biggles od velbloudích stíhaček (comic) (Biggles of the Camel Fighters) is a Czech comic strip adaptation of some of the stories in Camels are Coming. The comic strip was written by Václav Šorel and drawn by Jiří Petráček and first published in the "ABC" Magazine over 14 issues between 1990 and 1992. It was later reprinted in Velka kniha komiksu II (The Great Book of Comics 2) in 2002 and Zlatá kniha komiksů: Václav Šorel (The Golden Book of Comics: Václav Šorel) in 2011.
